ROC the Lake Music Festival – CANCELED
Blake Rose & Almost Monday
Friday, July 7, 2023 – CANCELED
Due to unforeseen circumstances, AJR is canceling upcoming July shows, including the July 7th Roc The Lake Festival at CMAC. Our thoughts are with AJR and their family at this time.
If you purchased tickets using your Ticketmaster account, you do not need to take any action. Ticketmaster will refund your account automatically. You will receive your refund within 30 days.
If you purchased tickets in-person with a credit card, no action is necessary on your part. The refund will be applied to the previously used card within 30 days. If you purchased tickets in-person with cash at the CMAC Box Office, you will need to stop by the Box Office to process your refund. We are open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12 – 4pm and all show days beginning at 12pm.
If you purchased tickets from a third party, you must process your refund directly through them. Unsure where you purchased from? Check your email — Most purchases come with a confirmation email. If that email isn’t from Ticketmaster, you will need to seek a refund from the organization your email is from.
Re-envisioning what pop can be in the 21st century, AJR unassumingly emerged as a ubiquitous hit-making outlier and one of the biggest indie bands in the world. Since 2012, the multiplatinum indie pop trio—Adam [bass, vocals], Jack [vocals, guitar], and Ryan [ukulele, piano, vocals]—have generated billions of streams and earned one triple-platinum single, one double-platinum single, four platinum singles, and one platinum album. 2019’s Neotheater marked their biggest first-week debut, bowing at #8 on the Billboard Top 200, #1 on the Top Alternative Albums Chart, and #1 on the Top Rock Albums Chart. Cemented as part of the modern zeitgeist, Spotify touted “Sober Up” [feat. Rivers Cuomo] among the “Best Rock Songs of the 2010s,” while Apple Music included “Weak” on its “Best Alt Songs of the 2010s.” Not to mention, they remain one of the “500 Most-Listened to Artists” on Spotify. On the heels of Neotheater, they dropped the 2020 platinum blockbuster “BANG!”, which they performed on TODAY, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and even at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Now, the band open up their world like never before on their fourth full-length album, OK ORCHESTRA [S-Curve/BMG] introduced by the single “Way Less Sad.”
