CMAC is the summer home of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and each season is also the backdrop for several community events. The picturesque surroundings add to the overall experience, with seating for 15,000, guests can enjoy a show under the shell or on the lawn. Friends of CMAC is comprised of community leaders from the public and private sectors who work together to ensure the continued success of the not for profit entity, CMAC. New York City based, Metropolitan Talent is CMAC’s promoter and secures the talent. Metropolitan Talent, Inc. is a multifaceted entertainment company led by co-CEO’s John Scher and Al Cafaro. The company’s concert division, Metropolitan Talent Presents, led by Senior Producer Ian Noble, is a preeminent promoter of world class live entertainment and has presented a vast array of artists in the Northeast including Bob Dylan, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Tool, Eric Clapton, Foo Fighters, Billy Joel, Lyle Lovett, Simon & Garfunkel, Dane Cook, Diana Krall, Taking Back Sunday, My Chemical Romance, Iron Maiden and Green Day. Venue management is handled by SMG. SMG, Worldwide Entertainment and Convention Venue Management, headquartered in Philadelphia, provides management services to CMAC and over 200 public assembly facilities, including arenas, stadiums, performing arts centers, theatres and convention, conference and trade centers.
