About The Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center
|
Located on the campus of the Finger Lakes Community College, CMAC plays summer host to numerous performances from leading entertainers ranging in style from Kenny Chesney to Kid Rock and Kathy Griffin to Sheryl Crow. CMAC is the summer home of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra and each season is also the backdrop for several community events.
The picturesque surroundings add to the overall experience, with seating for 15,000, guests can enjoy a show under the shell or on the lawn. Local favorite; Dinosaur Bar – B- Que is just one of the featured vendors.
Friends of CMAC is comprised of community leaders from the public and private sectors who work together to ensure the continued success of the not for profit entity, CMAC.
CMAC is proud to announce that we will work with industry renowned promoter The Bowery Presents for the 2010 season. CMAC's work will be led by Bowery partner, Jim Glancy, former president of the New York division of Live Nation and a prominent figure in the business. More details will be available in the coming weeks.

Venue management is handled by SMG. SMG, Worldwide Entertainment and Convention Venue Management, headquartered in Philadelphia, provides management services to CMAC and over 200 public assembly facilities, including arenas, stadiums, performing arts centers, theatres and convention, conference and trade centers. As the recognized industry leader since 1977, SMG provides construction and design consulting, pre-opening services, venue management, sales and marketing and event booking and programming. SMG controls over 1.5 million entertainment seats worldwide and manages more than eleven million feet of exhibition space.
